Maria Peponi

I am a kindergarten teacher at Kalathos Kindergarten, a seaside kindergarten in a rural area of Greece, where I have been working for the past 17 years. Together with my colleague, Glykeria Kourou, we have extensive experience in implementing innovative and collaborative educational projects. This year we discovered the Blue Lights initiative and we are starting the implementation of our program, which focuses on empowering children as active citizens. We are particularly interested in collaborations with other European schools, aiming to cultivate in our students a love for nature and to jointly carry out actions with social and environmental impact.
