As part of the BlueLightS project – “EnLIGHTening Future Schools to Deliver BLUE Sustainability in Europe”, funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe Programme, students of grades 6 C and 6 D from Secondary School no. 37 Constanța, Romania participated in an educational and artistic activity dedicated to the marine environment.
Coordinated by prof. Iordache Nicoleta-Simona and prof. Carmen Stan, the students discovered the beauty and fragility of the Black Sea by identifying different types of shells found on the shore. 🐚
🎨 The “Stain and Color” activity challenged the students to translate their vision of the theme “The Black Sea – a source of inspiration” into drawings, capitalizing on direct observations and artistic creativity.
🖼️ The works produced were brought together in a mini-exhibition organized in the classroom, transforming the educational space into a veritable art gallery. Students had the opportunity to present their creations, share the ideas behind them, and appreciate the diversity of perspectives of their peers, in an effort that encouraged free expression and creative dialogue.
🌊 Through this experience, students developed their respect for nature, artistic sensitivity, and became aware of the importance of protecting the marine ecosystem.
🌱 We learn to protect what inspires us!
