Exploring the history of Constanta
As part of the project “BlueLightS – EnLIGHTening Future Schools to Deliver BLUE Sustainability in Europe”, funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe Program, students of the 5th grade C, under the coordination of prof. Marcoșanu Iuliana and prof. Apostu Corina, embarked on a captivating expedition into the historical heart of the city of Constanta, as part of the educational project carried out at the school level.

The aim of the activity was to familiarize students with the rich cultural and architectural heritage of the city, offering them the opportunity to discover history in an interactive and attractive way.
During the activity:
🔹 students explored important historical sites in Constanta;
🔹 conducted additional research on the historical and cultural significance of each monument;
🔹 learned to observe, analyze and capitalize on the information discovered.
The information collected was capitalized by creating a detailed and informative tourist guide, demonstrating the creativity and involvement of the students.
The activity contributed to the development of team spirit, documentation skills and the strengthening of respect for local heritage.
Through such experiences, students become more connected to their community and more aware of the importance of preserving cultural values.
