Cláudia Faria. Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon. She coordinates the Master's programme in biology and geology teaching (3rd cycle and secondary). She is a Biologist with a PhD in Ecology and Biosystematics and a PhD in Science Education. She has coordinated several research projects related to the promotion of ocean literacy in schools, and collaborates with various educational initiatives in evaluating the impact of activities developed to promote OL. One of the focuses of her work centres on the promotion of scientific literacy, in particular ocean literacy, and the initial training of science teachers.
