About Me
Carla Oliveira
My name is Carla Oliveira, and I am a teacher of Visual Arts and Technology at Agrupamento de Escolas Pinheiro e Rosa in Faro, Portugal. I coordinate the Eco-Schools and Blue School programmes, leading interdisciplinary projects that connect science, art, and citizenship, with a strong focus on Ocean Literacy, sustainability, and climate change education. With a background in Civil Engineering and postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Education, I have developed and implemented award-winning projects that engage students aged 10–15 in field monitoring, citizen science, artistic campaigns, and public exhibitions. I am committed to fostering meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that link schools and communities, and I am available for international collaborations, teacher training, and knowledge exchange with schools and research institutions across Europe.
