Explored strategies to support the network of blue schools and address the challenges they face. Hear from BlueLightS project members Melita Mokos, Irene Pateraki, and Christian Esteva Burgos as they share their expertise and experiences.

Empowering Teachers with Ocean Literacy: Rada P├índeva emphasised, “The less you know about something, the less you value it, and the easier it is to destroy.” Discussions will focus on empowering teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to inspire the next generation to value and protect our oceans. Exhibition of Blue Initiatives:

The event featured an insightful exhibition where various initiatives and projects come together, all sharing a common goal: making the ocean a better place. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about blue education and the impactful work being done to support marine conservation.

Special thanks to all panellists and contributors, including Francesca Santoro, Rita Borges, and Fotigui Camara, for their invaluable insights.
