Based in Greece, the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA) runs one of the most successful and long-standing environmental education programs in Europe.

Through the “HELMEPA Junior” initiative, schoolchildren and their teachers voluntarily become members of a vast network dedicated to protecting the marine environment. Together, they actively participate in beach cleanups, recycling campaigns, and hands-on marine biodiversity workshops across the beautiful Greek islands. 🏖️♻️
