🌊 Big step for our ocean!

The European Commission, led by Ursula von der Leyen, has launched a new international alliance to strengthen global ocean protection and observation.

With €50 million in funding from Horizon Europe, the initiative aims to boost cooperation, improve ocean monitoring, and support science-based solutions for healthier seas.

This is a strong signal that protecting our ocean is a shared global responsibility — and a key pillar for a sustainable blue economy.
